Geismar Gate

Inscription

The ash gate, which was later called the Geismar gate, belonged to the fortification of the old town from the 13th century. In 1830, the two-winged gate was renovated for the last time. The gate pillars on both sides of Geismar Street were near the pedestrian tunnel built in 1977 until about 1870.
