ELDERLY AND NURSING HOME of the Hospital “St. Elisabeth” Foundation. Founded in 1288 by Landgrave Heinrich I of Hesse in honor of his grandmother, Saint Elisabeth, Landgravine of Thuringia, who died in 1231 in Marburg. New building from the years 1975 – 1977.
